My work involves abstract forms inspired by ocean life, nature, shapes, and colors that can be found in the desert landscape. I splice textures and shapes observed in my surrounding environment to accumulate and create new organic forms. My sculptural work involves psychology in its abstraction and is inspired by the ocean as a metaphor for the subconscious with its uncanny nature, possibility, depth, and mystery.
